The Skagit Conservation District is seeking a forester

This position requires a solid background in natural resources management and a technical
degree in a compatible field of study from an accredited institution in forestry, natural
resource management, environmental science, or a closely related field with an emphasis
on forestry. Also required is demonstrated experience and understanding of Washington
State forest practices act, urban and rural forestry practices, interpreting county codes,
working with the public on natural resources or forestry issues and addressing resource
management problems. Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Certification in
basic RMS planning and understanding of the American tree farm system of certification is
a plus.

Salary

The salary will be dependent on experience.
