January 31, 2019, Community gardening has increased sevenfold in Spokane area
When Patricia Munts, small farms and agriculture coordinator at Washington State University Spokane County Extension, began working with gardens in the city in 2008, there were at least eight community gardens, she recalls. Presently, the Spokane region is home to 56 community gardens, including service gardens.
WACD is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and

commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
