Working Together to Address Natural Resource Challenges

May 1, 2017 by

In partnership with the Washington State Conservation Commission, we are happy to announce an exciting training on May 23rd in Ellensburg. With a goal of enhancing the connection between conservation districts and the tribes as well as building strategic partnerships to improve our natural resources, the Washington Association of Conservation Districts will host Del Laverdure for the day. As a former Acting Assistant Secretary and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior, he is uniquely and eminently qualified to lead attendees in identifying and resolving the shared challenges found across the different regions of our state.

This event is open to all CD Supervisors and Association Supervisors, District Managers, designated staff, and conservation tribal members. Lunch is included in the cost, which is only $50, and better yet, only $25 if you are in the first year of your position. Contact information is included in the Event Flyer if there are any questions. Registration ends on May 18.
